The manufacturing base in Kuching currently comprises of 2 monocrystalline solar ingot plants, 1 monocrystalline solar ingot shaping plant, 2 monocrystalline solar wafer plants, and 3 monocrystalline solar cell plants, all operating under the company. The company had about 4000 employees in 2022.
Continues to expand its business operation, now growing beyond Kuching to Serendah in Selangor and Bintulu in Sarawak. Both new locations are scheduled to commence production in 2023.

Legal Counsel Career Opportunity at Longi Malaysia Sdn Bhd Kuching Sarawak

Post Name: Legal Counsel

Responsibilities:

• Assist Public Affairs General Manager in accurately identifying, evaluating and preventing legal compliance risks in the Company’s operation and management, and providing comprehensive legal compliance guarantee for the Company’s development.
• Provide strategic legal guidance and ensuring the Company operates within the bounds of the law while minimizing legal risks.
• To assist the Public Affairs General Manager in the day-to-day operation.
• Assist in handling all kinds of disputes, lawsuits or arbitration cases.
• Provide support in contract management, license management, seal management, authorization management, corporate governance and other legal systems.
• Undertake business-related legal compliance research and output with reference to the Company’s objectives.
• Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of knowledge base of the Company’s legal function.
• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates various legal documents such as contracts, agreements, policies and other legal instruments to ensure they comply with applicable laws.
• Identifies potential legal risks and develops strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Participates in negotiations with external parties to reach mutually beneficial agreements between all parties

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of legal work experience, preferably in a well-known law firm or large manufacturing company.
• Possesses rich legal professional knowledge and skills and rich legal affairs management and practical experience in China.
• Expertise in international law, civil and commercial law research.
• Able to deal with various legal affairs independently.
• Bachelor degree or above in law related major.
• Passed the unified national judicial examination.
• Possesses the legal Professional Qualification Certificate A.
